This page explains how to delete the data Timelines Global receives when a business connects a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a WhatsApp Business Platform number. It supplements Section 13, "Data from Meta Platforms", of our Kebijakan Privasi.
How to request deletion
Use any of these:
- Remove the Timelines app from Facebook. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites (or Business integrations), find Timelines Global and select Remove. Meta then revokes our access to your Page and accounts.
- Disconnect the channel in Timelines. In your workspace, open Channels, choose the Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp channel and disconnect it. We stop receiving data from it right away and stop using its access token.
- Email us at contact@Timelines.global with the subject "Meta Data Deletion Request". Tell us the Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number the request is about.
If you messaged a business that uses Timelines, email us with the name of the business and your name or account, and we will delete the profile data we received from Meta about you. The conversation itself belongs to that business, so you can also ask the business to delete it.
What gets deleted
- Access tokens and the connection. The connection ends immediately when you disconnect the channel or remove the app. Stored access tokens are deleted when you ask us, and when the workspace is closed.
- Customer profile data from Meta. The names, profile pictures and Meta ids of the people who messaged the business are deleted on request.
- Conversation history. Messages and attachments belong to the business's Timelines workspace. They are deleted when the workspace is closed, or when the business asks us to delete them.
How long it takes
We complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them and confirm by email when they are done.
Confirmation codes
If you received a confirmation code from Meta's data deletion flow, email it to contact@Timelines.global and we will tell you the status of your request.
